Brain Walk
18 May
Blue Heron Services presented several Kindergarten to Grade 3 classes with a BRAIN WALK Workshop at our school. Children were divided into groups and taken through various Stations. Each station outlined different parts of the Human brain and what function it performs. They also went through "How to take care of your brain." and "What happens if you hurt your brain." The interactive learning experience included hands-on games, visual activities, tasting and physical activity. The purpose of Brain Walk is to inspire the students to realize how important the brain is and what it can do, and therefore developing a natural desire to protect the brain.
